so were on..located some pink poweder coat from the united states! (good ole yanks) so if we are lucky we might of caught the shipment, which will be here monday, if not we are on for a wheel build the night before UD...

So its been a while since i tinkered.

its gone through an MOT and ive wacked a few more things on it.

firstly my wheels are in order, centers are on there way (slight hold up with paint, which was s*@! :@.)



then ive decided to tackle the secondary air system. havnt done a guide because i basically didnt want to put simon out of the job, but i ended up making my own blanking plate:



new strut brace, stripped and painted Gloss Black:



Rocker cover stripped and painted Gloss Black:



excuse the brown electrical tape, i will be changing that, but i took apart the tape to be able to move my valves out of site, me thinks its a bit tidy.

next steps are to find another inlet manifold and throttle body, poss move battery and BMC, fix glued on mirror with a lupo stubby on drivers side, and areo wipers as mine a f*cked.

That rocker cover looks great, top job there.
I nearly bought a spare fuel rail last week to polish up, our inlets are different though because I saw one of them for sale too.
You know I am silicon mad at the moment, I will have a load spare of the 6mm stuff for vac pipes when you are ready.

Did you remove the SAS pump as well? If it is all gone you can now re-plumb the vac line to it.

all thats gone, pump from underneath, and the side, taken vac pipe straight to dumpvalve now.
