| Im no expert but if they are both sensors then it shouldnt be to much hard to fix. the oxygen sensor reminds me of my *cough* Clio *cough* lol it just needed a new o2 sensor...and maybe the same with the coolant sensor?? | |

| Ok is the coolant light staying on ? or flashing? and have u got a full diagnostic machine or just the basic code flasher that alot of people seem to have brought? and as for the lamba u need to check the upstream and downstream on a full machine and see what the range is. to see if u need a new sensor first as could be something else causing that fault. | |

| It is a very simple job to change the o2 sensor..literally mins as it just unscrews and screws back in. But you need to find out if its the one before or the one after the cat really. You could give Eurocasrparts a bell and ask if the coolant sensor is in the expansion tank..if so you can get a new one for about £10... I have a o2 sensor tool but not sure if it would be the same for an A3 though. | |

| Sorry, I have been in Cairo for a week so lost the plot a bit. Which wheel bearing needs doing?
The rears are a horrible job on the Golf IV, might be the same on yours but I now have all the tools. There are bearing plates that fuse to the shafts and don't come off nicely. Using a blow torch helps but feels really bad.
I have yet to try the fronts.... | |
