17705 fault code

I ve been have this code coming up since I ve had the car , and now only just sorted it , well to be honest I didntsomeone else did.

Short story
Basically I am running a ko3 hybrid and a few over bits on my aqu ,
I ve had leaks from pcv system so that's sorted , updated charge pipes etc etc,
Now here's the shocking bit . I ve been up to rtech and left the car a few times and nick has helped me out at the start, but was busy( and wasn't charging me that much) and I decided I knew better thought he was having me over, oh I got that wrong,( this was four years ago)

So I spoke to another company and they said they could custom code my car to suit my car , with all the mods ,as they were closer popped over to them and they said oh we sort the code too, so deal was done.
Got it back didn't really feel any different , and the code was still there , so back I went 3-4 times them saying oh you got to chance this bit and that, guess what still no joy.

So tail between my legs I rang up nick at rtech and he said he have a look ,
So went up there and guess what ,
The fault was in the map , and all this local (ish) company had done was used my stage 1 map by retech( from 2010 with nick had shown me in his files) upped the boost and added the fault by mistake,no scaling for the bigger maf/injectors /pump etc etc ,

So now the fault is gone but I ve still need to get it remapped correctly to suit my mods, and try get my cash back , but they saying prove it, not happy

good mechanics are busy and if your onna good rate you just have to wait

have done this myself some years ago didint wann wait for my regular man so

went elswere like you wish i haddent it made more problems than it solved.

as far as getting your money back i dont see how you can prove they have done jack and charged you for the privalige

name and shame and let KARMA do the rest?

The funny thing is nick said it's a gen4 remap they used and his on 17 now haha, modden it a bit for me but got to go back, all I can say is they just outside reading,
