What colour you going with?

was good to meet a couple of you locals
I will try to get to a meet.
Done a bit more on the car tonight, but no pics, will give the game away
I removed the sunroof for spraying
Refitted the inlet manifold, had to machine some metal off as it was interfering with the exhaust manifold, fits a treat now. used new gaskets and water way seal
so here is how she stands now, engine in and all complete apart from carb, exhaust and wiring.
front end has both wings on, slam panel in place and lower front valance in place, bonnet prepped ready for colour.
windscreen going back in thursday.
O and i made a blank for the speedo drive hole in the gearbox.
And fab'ed a new braket up for the speed sensor.
cheers peeps will get pics up on thursday

| right First up is bodywork, yes its getting painted and your still not seeing it, but to prove its getting done here's a pic of the sunroof out and hole masked up, exciting eh next up i thought i would turn my attention to the dash, As yo will know i am flocking the dash and having all aftermarket gauges in a carbon fibre surround, got to work fab'in these up. the smaller on will house the heater control and warning lights. then i decided to relocate the fuse panel and make a home in the centre console, all other switches will be house'd here too. while the fibreglass was setting i thought i should at least try to tackle the wiring 8O and inside and with the centre console in the car at the mo my living room looks like a VW factory, got mk2 bits all over it. other half of the engine loom also spread out across the floor cheers peeps | |

| I have been busy again and decided to call it a night. Mainly wiring again, Got the loom sorted and extended the stuff i need to, fed the washer bottle feed into the cabin along with wiper motor wires, got the loom through the passenger side chassis leg. Next up is the pic of the transmission with sound deadening removed. Next up something alot of you want, can yo guess what it is yes its a genuine sunroof seal from VAG, here is the proof. A mate managed to get it, if you want one note the part number above, not many left now. and finally my favourite purchase to date genuine carboon fibre door panels cheers for looking | |

| well peeps its been a little while since i done anything, due to a great holiday in turkey. But here it is, i'm a little bored of wiring so i took this and this and decided to try and make them as one first up i driled holes in the carbon panel and also in the door then i took this little beauty and inserted a threaded tube into the door, this allows easy fitment of the door card. # I got a delivery today of a 20m reel of blue seatbelt webbing. this litle lot will become my inner door pull. and here's how it turned out I will be finishing the wiring this week, and will chuck a few pics up later. also found some ultra fine mesh, more to come later cheers all | |

| Think you can remove the heater lines, with a really sharp blade, but apprently it's a bugger to clean all of the glue off. | |
