| this year i am doing the london to brighton bike ride for british heart foundation has anyone done this before? i am very scared...... i dont know why the hell i agreed to it!! | |

| Wow..what a cool thing to do...think you brave though..you need to do a lot of long distance riding just to get used to it. I cycled from Hemel to Milton Keynes once and It was bloody knackering...even slight hills knacker you right out. Good luck | |

| Good for you K, that is about 54 miles so two marathons lengths, it is a challenge but for a very good cause. How are you going to get the bike and you home? Have you a special bike prepared? We could rig up a small motor hidden in a rear saddle bag if you fancy? | |

there is four of us doing it an we figure, if we start to struggle, turn it into a pub crawl, let the alcohol numb the pain!!
it works out at 54 miles.... hmmm, more scary when you describe it as twice a marathon!! | |

| K have a good look at your seat and say to yourself, "do I want to be sat on that for 54 miles?" then go buy a softer one! I take it Matt's playing a support function, lots of drinks/chocolate and a good "sports massage" at the end! | |
