Sell or not to sell that is the question!

Well guys,

I am in two minds weather or not to sell the loon. There is another project I want to start, and I will need the space. Damit!
that is why I have been holding off on fitting the carbs. I am really not sure , so Iam putting it to you guys. What do you think?

Well so far on club polo the highest offer via pm has been 1800. I am justn ot sure.

Although I love the loon I think you just have to do what you heart says. How would you feel once its gone? would it be the biggest mistake? But if you are already thinking of selling it then I dont think your heart is 100% in it..so I would probably say to start fresh on this new project.

Well I put a feeler out for offers for the car and all the spares I have which include, the carbs, the manifold, spare front and read bumpers, A set off rear tail lights, full extra super sport suspension kit brand new never fited. Basicaly the car and all its parts. So for all of that I would probably want 1500+.

Cheers pinks, I really do love her. Honest and If I had another garage I would not even consider it. I just have been looking at my old cars etc, and I really really need more power again. So that is what driving me!

hmm tough call, but as said everything has a price and if your already thinking of selling it then you dont have 100% love for it!!!

Yeah, the problem is I do have 100% love for it, but I also am craving a seriously fast car. At the moment I cant have both.
One thing is for sure, I need more power either way, having had cars in the past pushing over 350bhp makes it hard not to be there again.

fast cars arent any good these days anyway, you cant use them theres cameras or police everywhere nowadays...

That is a very good point.

That's some serious power you've had in the past looner! What was it you had running that?

Basicaly 2lt 16V longblock turbo. Big cams, nitrous. In a mk caddy.
Once you have had a car like that, you will always want it again. Trust me, I know.

Cops may be everywhere etc, but there is still the pod, and the track days. So there are places to use it, granted you have to be careful on the roads.
THe R32 is an idea, Ill see how it goes. Like I said in the begging I am in two minds, if I didn't love the car I would have sold it by now, espicialy some of the offers I have been getting from club polo.

Ok Peter couple questions to ask yourself.

1/ Will you make your maoney back?
2/ Will it be enough to help with the next project?
3/ Will you kick yourself in a few months/years and want to buy it back?
4/ Will you be ok with nothing to bring to shows this year? (assuming Project 300hp takes more than a month! )
