a question for mr bazza

did you golf come with 256 brakes and if so did you or has it got
a 22mm master cylinder?

Yes it's got 256 brakes, not sure about the master cylinder though, never checked it. The only thing i was annoyed about was the fact it's got solid disc's. I had a 'P' reg before this one and it had vented disc's, which were superb. So i'm on the hunt for a late model setup which is vented.

thanks fitted mk2 16v hubs/carriers/calipers. to mine had 239 a standard
which where okay. but i think im going to fit a 22mm master cylinder.

Let me know if you find it's better and how much. Been thinking about changing the master cylinder on my Scirocco, but wondering how much difference it makes.
