| back in the day with me nova, just put a corsa sport 16v gearbox on my formula vauxhall 1600 8v and ran it up on rollers ran at 120bhp then loud crunching sound "oh sh*t i think the gearbox has gone!" good day out! | |

Got to think of it like this...it was better that it happened on the rollers and not on the motorway..could have turned out a lot worse. Whos to say you wouldnt of opened her out..whilst driving on the road? Can understand why you dont want to do it though..think it would put me off too. | |

| I understand Spooner, though the load on the rolling road is usually less aggressive to the box than some concentrated driving. Hopefully the guy we are using will be sweat to the cars, put them in one gear and then bring the power on until they bounce off the rev limiters giving us an Italian Decoke. | |

| my mate takes his scooby to ds automotive in aylesbury normally £69 for his car mayb cheaper for a group or theres a couple of places in watford they have all got this state of the art rollers can enquire mre if evry1 is not fussy where it takes place? | |
