Hell yeah. Nothing beats standing by you pride and joy as it is bounces off the rev limiter.
I use to get free time on a bike dyno with a map as we created a custom map, I was a few feet away from my rear wheel doing approximately 145 MPH. It was a rush.

Yes.
I have been following a Beetle when it threw a con-rod, bits of engine everywhere. We can check how bad your oil pressure is, maybe drop the oil sump and try to investigate the big ends.
They often start to stick first and move again when they cool down, watching not only oil pressure but oil temp is important.
