my first five cars were fiesta mark 1's ranging from 950 popular to a 1300 sport (not super sport)

then i had a mark 1 cortina (1966) i had to get onto google for the picture

then the most silly car ever.. was a 1982 escort similar to this one but i painted it yellow (was a sprayer at the time so only had to pay for the paint) i lowered it 125mm buy cutting the standard springs in half and cable tieing them into place.. it bent the car like a banana!!

for my 21st birthday my dad gave me his car! a 1988 honda ballade exi.. great car!

that was the start of the honda's.. i thought.. so i went v-tech and bought a prelude (google picture again)

after that i didnt want another japanese car... so i bought one of these

my love of classic cars came back after a couple o years and this popped up, its a 1969 riley 4/72 (this is a picture of the actual car i owned)

then ebay provided me with this

until it died of brain cancer.. so i got the arosa woohoo

that was stuarts wedding day.. that was the result of 6 hours polishing and swearing at flies!!

That polishing was worth it, your car looked awesome. When I saw you parked up outside their flat I thought they had hired a professional car.
It is amazing how many of us are on here, it works out really well when you go for a car service and the guy knows you and looks after you.

the riley is wicked, very retro!, would love to have something like that now

Just had the loon dynoed! yeah baby std for my engine is 60bhp. I landed on 67.9 BHP not bad for a std block and intake setup. All it has so far is ignition and exhaust! wiiiicked. This means with carbs alone I should be hitting at least 80! I will post the dyno sheet tomorrow!

By the way Geoff your a legend thanks for the help with the timing. I have a feeling I could have gotten closer to 70 if I could just get the settings spot on. The chaps at DSA agreed. They were blown away they were all expecting 40bhp HAHAHAHAHA So now i have my baseline to work from. Watch this space peeps.

Mine's due a go on the dyno soon, I'm hoping it'll break 320 (should do easily, 240 + 40% extra from the charger).

I have not hear of them before, I went to DSA in Aylesbury. Nice chaps, really pleasent. Nice workshop too. Their dyno machine , or should I say room. was first rate. They drive the car into the machine and close the doors, almost looks like a spray booth with rollers.

I am sure someone on here will be able to coment on them though.

Foud out that all engines fitted in 1989 from January are the 2G engine type which is only 55BHP and 70.8 lbf-feet so I have added 12.6BHP and 9.2lbf-feet just by adding the exhaust and my ignition tweaks. Yeah woo woo!
