New Magnex stainless Cat-back hopefully being deilvered today and fitted tomorrow night!

hehehehe Ouch! Well at least your car is going to sound much better now. I must admit the exhuast part is easy to fit. The manifold is another story. You may need a hand to align it properly, I took mine around to steve's last night for shakedown run. I just found that trying to align it by yourself under the car is no good. Unless you have a car hoist. Anyone know of a garage owner who will let us use his hoist! hehehhe

Pete, it's a Cat back so no manifold... and will be done on a 4-poster lift.

No I realise that, that was my point hehehe, unlike mine! So whos lift! I need one of those. Much easier!

Not quite, the 6 cylinder 911 engine need a bit more room, then you need to upgrade the gearbox. Some early 911's are running a round with tuned Beetle lumps as they are cheaper and have been developed to be as potent.

Sounds like they are great for the summer then.

And they are bleeding Heavy.. whereas you can make even a splitty out-do a 993/6 turbo on the strip...

All I know is the baja I saw was stupidly fast, and looked the nutts! Needless to say it had uprated breaks, etc etc. It was definatly a hopped up porsche motor though. Not sure which 911 it came out of though. One thing, with a cut a way baja there was no issue with space hehehehe. On the flip side follow this link. At GTi fest we should see a splitty that wheelies as it pulls off the line, it is also driven by a grinning lady.

Niccce! hehehe. I have seen some beetles running a twin weber setup doing some very respectable times before. Also last time I was at pod there was a mother of a beetle running one huge hair dryer. Pulling 13 seconds on the mile. Unreal!

13secs is considered Slow for fast street bugs now Pete... sub 12's is where's it's at... 13's are for Busses!

Yes Dark shots but were taken at 2.00am after I'd fitted it!

Has pretty much bedded in now and needs a final fettle as started to touch somewhere but Magnex gives a much nicer deeper note but still sounds factory. A very "Grown up" system!

Oh and started to play with some Clay I got as well, again all done late at night so not the best shots..

The claying has helped "sharpen" up the reflections on the car a bit more, and as soon as the weather's better I'll spend a weekend doing to whole car and then 3-staging it as well!

Been looking for one of these for years and now mine all mine!

personaly I'd go with the carbon the wood would look weird on its own but saying that I've seen it done quite well in a Mk2
