GTI INTERNATIONAL 2012
23/24 June, Bruntingthorpe Proving Ground

Now celebrating its 25th year, GTI International is the UK’s greatest event for enthusiasts of the high-performance Volkswagen Group models, including VW, Audi, SEAT, Skoda and Porsche.

The event features thousands of the fastest and best-looking Volkswagen Group cars, taking part in the quarter-mile Sprint and the Show ’n’ Shine, as well as a great many trade stands and displays, a handling course, club displays and competitions, car sales area, autojumble, mobile rolling-road dyno, plus children’s amusements, catering, on-site camping and much more…

This year we’ll be marking the event’s 25-year history with a ‘Back to the Eighties’ retro theme, including many new attractions and special displays designed to make this year’s event the best GTI International ever – we look forward to seeing you there.

* Closing date for advance ticket orders is 12 noon Friday 8 June, 2012

Advance tickets will be posted out, week commencing 7 May, 2012.

Normal gate prices are £20 per day (adult) and £18 per night

The CONVOY will heading up for the SUNDAY ONLY. If you wish to go up for the weekend, you can join the club stand once it has been set up sunday morning Smile

Plan is to meet at HEMEL HALFORDS at 0700 to leave for 0730 on the 24TH JUNE so people can get breakfast.

Don't think I'll be attending unless I find a new hub for the 6n2 for cheap Sad

wheel was very close to coming off had one bolt left and no spigots so my own fault sorry

Hay no worries I didnt have spigot rings on mine for a while and it drove like jelly!!!!!!

Cheers dude - well on my mk3 polo i never bothered with them and all seemed fine but never again didn't enjoy seeing bolts in the air lol

No spigots won't make your wheel fall off!? When I had the allocates on my G I run it without them for like 8months!

Surley you can find a hub some ware? ASM? Germany recycled?

Will do mate, yeah true but as the bolts fell out the wheel wasn't supported by the hub if you get what I mean, this cars a money pit. Hopefully if I get one from a scrappy it will have a decent bearing in ( majorly ruined or money this month as mat knows unfortunately) cheers dude I'll text you now

To be honest I think the bolts an hub were at fault to begin with was weary as soon as I saw the state of them
