| Cheers guys thanks for all the comments! Having a right mare finding decent tyres for the 14's can only find big gay bubble tryes! and all the lower profile ones are sooo pricey, having no money sucks! Dan ill see what Lauren says about white should have them done by next week thought whatever the colour. Ooh also might be borrowing an arch roller this weekend from a guy at work so If anyone wants a play on Sunday hit me up Anyway everyone loves pics! How my boot looks at the moment Slowly filling up my allocated corner of the garage with car stuff In my quest to learn how to fix stuff myself Ive got this, only on page 8 so far And finally | |

| the lowest profile i could find was 45
Camskill seem to do the cheapest at £52 (FALKEN ZE912) link --> camskill - FALKEN ZE912 ZIEX MyTyres do Uniroyal RainSport2's for £55 link --> MyTyres Uniroyal RainSport 2
I use RainSport2's on my VR's winter wheels & I have to say that they're one of the best wet weather tyres ive ever had and give good grip in the dry to.

| Well ive been thinking about removing the helper springs for a while so today I gave it a go, heres a few to many pics. Really should have greased them up when I fitted them Took them out stripped them and left with this mess Out came the WD40 and the wire brush And all done Well I thought I was on a roll so carried on mucking about whipped these out To reveal some pretty tidy rust free arches Borrowed this badboy of a guy at work so clueless, I managed to roll the arches Leaving me with this, not quite done in this photo but nearly there Couldnt put the archliner back in because I had bent the where the screws hold onto the arch so shot a bit of primer over the bits that were bare metal, probably last all of ten minutes Well thats it, lowered the coils all the way down put the wheels on lowered it back down to tarmac and ..... its not low, didnt even lower from where it was before the helpers where taken out, so some googling and ringing a mate and apparently I should have cut the bumpstops! Grrrrrrrr well I was angry and cold so Ive called it a day, working overtime tomorow so might give it another go after depending on the weather. I need to rent a lockup!!! | |

Arch roller is pretty cool didnt have a clue how to use it but i borrowed it for nothin so better than beating it with a hammer. If you ever want a go mate just give me a shout and ill borrow it again.

| Well as it was slighty warm ... ish after work today I popped over the Halfords and took Dans advice and got some chain lube. Then stripped down the drivers side front coilover. Oh hello bumpstop Bumpstop meets hacksaw My new and improved bumpstop Mounted everthing back onto the car and im still not impressed even thought Ive only done 1 corner its not low enough, just have to hope that the new wheels and tyres will help alot or I will have to start thinking about cutting the springs =[ Anyway it was starting to freeze so that stopped play, passenger front after work tomorow hopefully. | |

Lol Cheers bud, I just want it somewhere near how low my old MK3 was that thing was silly low and had the helpers still in! Well I could chop the springs but they are pigtailed so wouldnt be a simple chop, I could buy some smaller springs but havnt looked at prices yet or I could get rid of the bumpstops completly but I dont think £150 coilovers would last 5 minutes also going to look at raising the top mounts. So much effort for lows lets hope the rocco looks half decent low or it will be getting sold! | |
