| Thinking of doing some engine mods on my 1.8 driver anyone done anything to one before any expertise most helpful

| Yup, remove engine and replace with either at 2.0-16v, G-lader or VR! 8v's are a bit of a mare to get big gains from.. so it'll be the usual exhaust/intake mods, (maybe 5-10bhp) then maybe a cam and Properly set up Webber, then if you are feeling rich some headwork... after that you're looking at upping the capacity to 2.0 My 2.0-8v in the Anni's been exhausted/cam'd and chipped and still feels slow to the 20-16v in the rado. Mind you it would probably benefit from a Roling Road set up as well.. | |

| u can do alsorts with the 1.8 8v engine - an u wont have to break the bank too
Forget engine swaps and 'credit card' mods!!
get urself a cam, weber carb it will make a massive difference | |
