Are you running the standard MAF, injectors and pump or did you upgrade them?

All standard maf injectors and pump.

A rod decided it wanted to escape and made a brake for it.!!!



New engine this weekend.!!!

Oh and it worked out to be £40 for my powdercoating as I am advertising for them aswell now.

I have been waiting for the write up.
Where abouts in the engine is the picture taken? I think it is the bottom of the crank case on the gearbox side. That looks like a turbo oil pipe in the top left. Is that a piston head lying at an angle having left its con-rod?
What was the cause of the rod escaping? What can we learn from this so it doesn't happen again.

Now what lump are you having fitted?

We can fix it, make it better, faster, stronger.

another lump the same is going in and i'm bringing mine back and gonna rebuild with man rods. then i can go big turbo too. its the back of the engine not the gearbox side was doing about 11 (0)mph and the car bottomed out and at the same time it all went a bit pete tong with bits of my engine scattering across the M1..!!!
