well today i went to AmD and got on the rollers. was well happy with the outcome of 197.8hp and 204lb/ft not bad as i havent even been mapped YET.

That is good power and a nice curve on the torque. Do you know what PSI you are getting on the boost?
As you don't have a remap yet, what has given you these gains?

it peaks @12psi and holds at 10. i have a fmic bypassed the 249 on saturday silicon TIP and thats about it under the bonnet.

Is it a standard exhaust and air intake/filter?
12psi sounds a bit remapped unless it was a 180 from stock?
We should take some readings to see where it is performing so well and then get the bugger remapped.

Yep, we would use my Vag com. We log the Mass air flow, the expected vs actual boost, adaptation readings and what the gas sensors are reading to get an idea of how fit the car is.

So you need a larger down pipe to get the most of that back box and to give the turbo somewhere to put the extra exhaust gas.

Nice work, who were you thinking of getting it mapped with? Revo are good as well as Custom Code, you should get a safe 220-225 out of it with the front mount.

dunno where to get it mapped yet. gonna be a dad in august so best get on it soon before the bubba comes.

Well over the weekend I went over to R - Tech for a remap Niki is very helpful and really knows his stuff he custom mapped my car giving me 241.8bhp feels like a differant car. Amazing,
Would recommend to anyone.
