| I found the easiest way to choice coil overs was to work out what I wanted to pay and then buy the ones best recommended at that price. The more you pay the better they will be in some areas. Mine Golf is also poly bushed and will have the anti-roll bars upgraded at some point so I can soften up the dampening. | |

the uprated ones i believe keep you flatter through corners (less roll/chassis tilt) . i know from looking at ones for my mk2 there are a couple of differences in thickness. i heard from a few people that the thicker type can be a bit too much for every day road use. this is if your talking about the whole anti roll bar and not just the bush. also if u go lower than around 40mm ur standard anti-roll bar rubs on the driveshaft - so a lowering ARB is needed if u wanted to slam it !! - well that wot i needed to do on my bora anyway - so i'm assuming ur seat will have the same set-up

| All correct, to go lower and to stiffen up the front. Suspension should be dealing with the bumps and not deal with the roll. So I want to take that out with an ARB and thus allow the suspension to do the up and down bit rather than the roll bit. | |

| You know, the film. I think he means top mounts and bump stops of the coilovers doesn't come with them BS built in. | |

Think its best to replace the rubber parts of the coily set up whilst your there..maybe upgrade. When I get coilies for my TT, Im also gonna change the top mounts...and as iv also changed all the ARB bushes and wishbone bushes..it should feel like a new car to drive
