anyone read the herald express this week?

on their frontpage it says about a crackdown on boy racers at jarman park

they made people peel tints off their windows on the spot, cuffed em and fined em, oh and also people with big alloy wheels, they also had vosa there!!

dont worry about un-insured drivers, knife crime or the pathetic state of this dump of a country guys, just worry about people with tinted windows!


although i must admit ive seen some right sheds! on the road

As my great and good brother in law always says, we are performance car enthusiasts and look after our motors, we are not boy racers but we have somehow been bunched with people who have no respect and don't care about others. We need to prove ourselves to be upstanding members of the community.
How many meets have we been to in the past where some crazy fool is doing hand brake turns in a public place? Or driving really fast to impress people? How many cruises turn into races?

That is why I really enjoy the Nomads, we don't get too caught up on the bragin, we respect each other and appreciate what other are doing and enjoying about their cars.

1) Hold high-profile pullover session targetting easy prosecutions with instant results

* I bet they could have pulled over twice as many people for outsized wheels, tints, illegal plates and driving while using mobile if they'd have set up near a rich area, but those people have lawyers, impressive job titles, connections, more cash than brain cells etc.

You could have an idea there Dan.... altho i cant help feeling its too late for that sort of thing as we,ve already been tarred with the same brush.... we know what we are but try convincing plod or vosa or even the local ragg that were not boy racers..... maybe invite the herald to a meet!!
