HI GUYS ive been given the task by a college of restoring a 1970 vw beetle! im in need of panels ive got floor pans but im in need of a section that goes over the front of transmission tunnel at the front of the car? can any 1 help???? or point me in a direction

If you mean the "Triangular" front bulkhead (between chassis and body) then commercially available...

Bit late to this post, the other people to try is Mega Bug. They are recycling Beetles all the time and can usually find any part.

The part you speak of is also known as the Nelsons hat. Its the front crossmember.

Available at GSF, Heritage and Machine7.

As Calimori says Mega bug for good used parts, they good chpas and deliver quickly.
