What a great day, despite some minor glitches everyone made it safely to the line up.

Much better turn out public wise than last weekend but then the weather probably had something to do with that too!

Massive mixed bag on the drag strip all the way from a 68 Bay window camper turning 19's through The Nomads surprising quick Jetta and Golf (the two Matts, turning 16.9 and 15.6 respectivly, albeit with the Golf Matt resorting to some drastic lightening - we were taking bets on when the doors and boot lid were coming off!) to a 11 sec Mk1 Escort with Mental Cossie turbo power and a 10-sec 67 Mustang running BIG CUBES... and a great soundtrack.

All in all a great day, and great chance for the Nomads to "show off" in a top Club Area too!

Onwards and upwards to E38!

Boo, I missed out because I set a silly deadline to get the bug in paint.

Nomads = fun with drag racing etc.

Stu - Another flesh wound (grinder inflicted) and a sore back. ;-(

Really enjoyed it again..and the weather was very good too...just a shame it made them nasty little bugs come out and attack..lol.
Poor Larry G40...couldnt get the car started and everyone else shot off..lucky we saw him stranded lol..and he finally made it after going a few wrong was..hehehe.
Welldone to Matt and Matt who went up the strip..cool beans!!

It was a good one though I left early afternoon when my man flu was taking over my fun-senses. Sound different cars, all close together with the sound and sights of the drag strip too.

A good day.... weather was kind too! and as said already a good mix of cars on the strip (mustang was the bol%$£cks)

Yeah was wearing Factor 15 which I though would be enough!
