Hi all, What can I say but I'm absolute shattered! But still grinning.

Here's how yesterday panned out...

Up at 4.30 thanks to the Cat having a massive hairball attack.

Quickly detail the car then get over to Ace to be confronted with over 80 cars and only two marshalls. Having just done a reverse run of the route showed the original route wouldn't work with that numbers and only two marshalls.

So Noz from East London Dubs and I had to some "on the fly planning" whilst trying to deal with the car-park being closed up and eveyone on the road... Hence a quick re-shuffle to Wembely, and the area we expected to use being SHUT!

Really sorry for the residents of the Ibis Wembely for so many cars parking outside at past midnight! That brought out a very bemused manager and some smoothing telling him we'd only be 10 minutes. Was a 1/2 miles of cars I had to run to speak to people!

On to the London Eye and we did keep the majority of cars with us which was really good, Andy's Caddy seemed to be drawing a lot of Lens time the couple of times I managed to drag myself away from running about! Hoping for a lot of pics from this stop, shame I didn' have time to breathe let alone take pics.

After that it did go a little "Pete-tong" I shot ahead to sort out the next meeting point only to find a shut road and plod lurking about, so again a couple cals and change, think this is where we lost most people...

We did manage to Rotherhide tunnel but by then it was geeting really late so we hopped the O2 (sorry Steve Probably would have picked you up there!) and onto the finish point.

Got the call from Pete as I pulled up to say you'd made the O2 with about 20 cars! Was just too tired to jump back in ane meet you...

4hrs sleep and the stress of not only navigating a new route on the fly, but also trying to keep an eye on what's happening behind/ahead etc really kills you!

Steve, Andy, Pete, Doug, Josh Stu, Yeti. Hope you all had a good time never the less, you all seemed to be smiling when I was running past! Big shout to the Yeti for helping get people into the Eye and parking duties too. Sorry you couldn't make the whole run..

Yeah i'd be up for that too. Last night was wicked but feelin it this morning. Got to Tower bridge last night then saw everyone going the other way turned around but they had all gone so decided to head home via Picadilly Circus, which was nice

Was good run all in all. I am thinking we organise a NOMADS midnight cruize with a good route through london. Had a good blast home, finaly got in the door just after 5. I woke up at 12:30 today and still feel shatterd but it was well worth it. I counted about 120 cars at ace. Huge turn out. Realy good.

Would loved to have been involved in this, would be up for a NOMADS cruise though.

I got the OK to join you and then was told my Nan was passing away.
Glad to hear you guys had a good time and that despite the changes required it was a success.

Guys have the original route if you want to try and run it in smaller numbers.. will take in Wembley stadium, Trafalger Sq, Houses of parliament, Tower, tower bridge, O2 and all the east-end road tunnels too! As well as a few other places.

You possibly could creep onto Canary Wharf too, some really good shooting points there! No way we could have got big numbers there though...
