Right ive decided its time to fit the manifold which has been sitting in my garage for the last 2 months! Before i start it Embarassed has anyone got any good tips to aid the removal of that old manifold? Do i do it warm or stone cold? Shall i drench it with WD40?

Any advice would be much appreciated

u can do it cold, just make sure u wire brush all the nuts and bolts 1st and use something stronger than WD40 like 3-in 1 oil. Get new springs/bolts/ 'o' ring gaskets for the down pipe too

it might make life easier if u take off the throttle body or inlet manifold .

oh yeah and get a de-cat too! or u wont feel the full potential

Plus-Gas or Duck Oil are really good penetrating fluids... best thing is to keep soaking your nuts overnight for a few days...

Ah just realised how that sounds! Embarassed

Ive had a thought, since im going to have to take the inlet manifold off too to allow access to those nuts i think im going to get it polished first. Then I wont have to take it off again later!! Kind of killing two birds with one stone.
