| yeah cool its an 8v carb. took the engine appart, put it back together and it started and ran but had no power when i put yu foot down. ive tinkered with it but it now wont start and am getting cross with it now | |

| Sounds like your ignition timing is out - make sure all your other timing marks line up (crank, cam and aux shaft) alot of people set the cam and crank but not the distributer
