Subject: Mk3 Golf Alarm Mon Apr 30 2012, 14:00
The Battery in my girlfriends mk3 cabrio went flat the other day, I've replaced it but now the alarm won't work. The dashboard light is on but not flashing.
Its a VW fitted alarm but the old type with a fop seprate from the key.
I assume cos the car battery was disconneted the alarm must need resetting, but does anyone know how to do it on this type of alarm???

Might be via the on board diagnostics port, VAGCom might tell you something. If you can get it to mine then drop me a line.
