| Basially wanted a mk1 since I can remember, Heres the situation, my friend is well into his banger racing stock cars etc an the team he builds cars for have just taken a mk1 in for scrap. Nothing has been ticked for scrap so still legal for the road (some people obviously havnt a clue) he's offered me it for £400 delivered to my door. I'm expecting pictures later this afternoon and I'm on the case looking for a garage to rent as we speak. Basic spec of the car I have been given so far it's going to be a project/rebuild by the way. Black 4door Finding out if it runs later Dent in front wing Missing rear bumper Needs replacement rear quarter window Has interior etc and doesn't look rotten. Reason for thread would you buy it? I'm buying it regardless but have no mk1 experience so looking for some advice generally. Got to be worth 400 notes obviously no one can give me a dead cert as I have no photos yet but still... Thank you, Matt | |
