SO after a crappy few months in regards to relationship status and having to move etc etcl i have decided to treat myself Smile

As some of you know i shall be off to the Isle of Mann TT in may with friends

so i thought i best get a new bike Smile

Here she is

ITs a 1999 Suzuki GSXR-750 SRAD

only got 14k on the clock too and very clean and original condition

these are getting rare nowadays in original condition SO......the plan is to give it a damn good going over to generally get it sorted and then over the winter of next year its being stripped back and every component cleaned painted or replaced

Back end is DISGUSTING (the only non original item on it)

so the undertray and indicators will be replaced with originals

thanks! Smile

yeah thats the plan.......its starting to become quite rare nowadays (theres loads of 600's!) esp in the blue and white colour scheme and most of them have been crashed or messed about with / modified badly so i thought i would do something about it! ha!

The plan is to have it in 'as new' condition by next summer

I have so much respect for the 750's and they are perfect size. I am glad to hear you are going to help it retain it's originality and that exhaust is right for the bike.

The r1 will be having a steering dampener fitted and hopefully get the suspension set up properly. At the moment, any quick acceleration makes the front go light and shake about. Which is fun a few times but after a while I feel slower on it than the VFR.
If that doesn't sort out the awful mess it makes of fast acceleration and corners I don't know what to do next. Probably sell it and buy an 02 Fireblade again.
