Well coilovers, rear beam, antiroll bar and a brake set up are all in. Took Polo this afternoon for tracking and got sent back, they couldn't do it as my steering inner rods have been there from new and absolutely knackered. So rang allparts, got new rods (bizzarly one from Hemel branch and the other from Watford) will be fitting these on a sunny Monday morning.

I have also ordered a new 23.81mm master cylinder from Germany. My brake pedal should feel nice and hard after fitting it.

I shall try to be at the meet on Thursday so will see you there.

Guys help please!!!!

Rear callipers are leaking fluid between underside of banjo and calliper face. Used new copper washers still leaking at the rate of 1 drip a second.

Does anyone know the correct torque setting for banjo bolts?

Thank you.

EV.

Do not try to reuse your brake lines once didconected from the calliper, 99% of the time they will not reseal again due to thrust washer being previously compressed. Banjo bolts are incorporated into the line with washers being fitted on before threading the banjo bolt. I had to fork out £70 for a pair of genuine VW lines. Cheaper than aftermarket reproductions.

Hope this will help others in the future.

Cheers
