HERTS Hemel Ski Centre VAG MEET Sat 10th Dec 6.30pm

Hello Nomads i thought i would post this on here. What started as a couple of people last week wanting to meet up has turned into a rather big gathering. There are so many of us from around the Herts area. Basically the deal is that there is a big VAG meet on the 10th December at the Hemel ski centre then off to the Harveter after for a few drinks and food in the warm. There are 24 cars going so far and anyone is welcome

The plan is to meet at the ski centre around 6 to 6.30, take some pics of all the cars then head off to the Harveter around 8pm to continue with some drinks in the warm

The lighting at the Ski centre is pure white so if your intrested in pics then this is the place to get them. Everything has been cleared with the ski centre so we can stay without getting booted out lol! Anyone is welcome, what started off as a few people has gathered pace really quickly.

Haha yeah i dont know what i would do without them pedals lol!!

No probs mate. Its only a couple of mins up the road from the Halfrods meeting point so not far

Alright peoples. Bump for tonight.

Its still all going to plan, we are getting to the ski slope around 6 to 6.30.

Ooh I totally wanted to come to this but I've just remembered

It is actually in the pipeline that Nomads are going to be changing the venue
To the Ski Centre as we have just about out grown the Cow Roast.
My nephew who works there spoke to his manager about it a few months back....and he seemed happy with the idea as long as nobody acts silly as it is a residential area.

whens that going to happen pinky?

It could be nice to make it a new meeting place for 2012?

Thinking that January will be the last meet at the cow roast... Also gives us a chance to tell everyone about it as some members don't come on here.
Need to get some new flyers printed out.
I responding think we are going to fit at the cow roast as the warmer months kick in...

as long as we can go to the roastcow now and then for a tramp fire fix im happy!!

Ah we shouldn't go saying the club is a Hemel club, we were meant to be a Herts club. I don't think we have had a single meet venue that was in Hemel.
I hope to roll up tonight if I get my suspension sorted and come check out the facilities but I will leave my snowboard at home.

It was started in hemel though...just nobody wanted us little tear aways.

What about the half that was Herts branch of ClubGti?

OK lets put this move on hold for the moment....and make sure everyone is happy with it.
I think it puts some people off trying to fit in a holey small dark car park....and we are definatly outgrowing it.

we should do a trail meet there!

Coul dbe an idea timmy...we could go there and hate it...only one way to find out.
