mk2 golf vr6 running ruff eney one want to fix it 4 me

need help got a mint mk2 golf gti with 2.8 vr6 lump init its running ruff got a miss fire eneyone vw expert mechanic can help me fix it and get my ride bk on road , ready to pay sumone to fix it . hope sumone can help or know were to take it the other thing the plug for ecu is been wired wrough to comm port so need help changing that . also got a g60 rally gearbox for sale what r they worth as they r getting hard to get now and also a mk1 bonnet oem part ring or txt me on 07920776271 . if u remember came to meet in my other car the red mk1 16v turbo.

some more info on the miss fire would be helpful! does it do it all the time? when its idling or underload. Also have done the usual checks like your ht leads and plugs etc??

did it first at low revs and cleared when u got to higher revs then it started doing it all the time and it was low on oil so topped that up then it cleared and was running gd for two days then misfire is bk all time . sumbody said try changing the 109 relay havert tryed it yet and thee seams to have a gd spark as had new leads and plugs not long ago when conversion was done . thanks for eney help u can give m8

it hasent got a ciol pack its the earlier engine with distriberter cap

ok so check for vacum leak run engine and spray wd40 over vacum pipes and joints
if revs change thats were your leak is its a trick from the 16v camp!

you could also check your earth straps are clean etc

also check (altho not very easy ) you cant hear any air escaping while engine running (i said it s not easy;-))
