Project Varient - Silver Passat Wagon

Introducing my Silver Passat then:

In brief then, starting point was a Cat C write off bought as salvage, repaired and slowly modified over the past 4 years, mistakes made, lessons learnt.

Not being one for letting the project rule my life, its had money spent on it as and when available, sometimes asking the mrs's permision, sometimes not, hiding ebay purchases, having things delivered else where, so on & so on

Year 1.

Transferred my private plate across, badgless grille, and played about with badges.







Year 2.

Merc Vito Hangers, 18" S3 reps, Bonnet Bra, Red Rears & Yellow Headlights









Year 3.

Tidied up the front bumper with some paint & chrome & lowered the old girl on Coilovers











Year 4.

Put some real effort in and had both sides repainted/colour coded, installed some fog lights & decided on a new set of wheels.























Thats where I find myself now, probably a few lil bits more to come when funds allow - need some arty shots in its current guise.

Thanks for the Luuurvin'guys, I really want a new steering wheel... over the next few months shall be scouring the 'bay

I wanted to take the car down the tradition VAG modder route with a porsche inspired theme, baring in mind budget, tomb stone seat & steering wheels aren't quite on the cards, so I was keeping watch for keys on ebay and won this little beauty for £26 posted!





Tried to code it to the car with a snap on device but that failed booooo

So will go away and scratch my head with other solutions.

Failing anything else, I'll just get a lanyard and hang it around the rear view mirror
