| Hi does anyone have an engine diagnostic tool that thy can plug in to my A4 1.8t the car runs but won't idle, had the AA look at it but they were as much help as a chocolate tea pot. I think the fault could be electrical but nothing is coming up on the display...............  | |

| I would like to thank all of you that helped, ginger for his tool and not knowing where the crank sensor is LOL and Fitzy (Hero)  for coming over on his day off and taking 5 mins to sort and remove the offending crank sensor, new one due Monday so hopefully back on the road Monday PM and fitzy the offer still stands if your interested

| He changed the crank sensor still nothing!! Think he had the remap place out today. | |

| well the car is all back now after replacing the crank shaft sensor, unichip and air mass meter and running really sweet, I am now toying with selling the car as I have my eye on a new toy | |
