OK, to understand what was fixed we need to understand what we were doing to fix it.
I had already tested connecting via the www.nomadsvw.co.uk and nomads.canadian-forum.com and they both worked. And now you are in, I wonder if going back to www.nomadsvw.co.uk will work because I think it will. This leads me to think the problem is not the server but a corruption of session information that peoples browsers were re-using. My next suggestion is to get someone who still has a problem to clear their cache in the browser.
Anyhow, next up, lets fix the under construction message on the www.nomadsvw.co.uk front page.
