| Help
Im in being abit undecisive (Spelling) at the moment !
Every time i see these wheels i get the urge to ring the guy and say ill have them, its just the offsets stoping me.
Im running 9s at the mo et15 with slight rubbing and not much arch work ?
http://www.edition38.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=144077&st=0&start=0
What do you guys think ? buy them then worry about fitting them after ?
im thinking grind the arches/roll them tightly along with a set of camber shims just to help things along ???

| Only 2 replies and ive sent the guy a pm with a resonable offer,
im sure if i get them for a nice price i should have some spare money to make them fit.
it should only be £100 for the rears to get profesionaly rolled or have a dabble with a metal bar.
and then 20 quid for the shims, i might even be able to just grind a little down and use shims. hmmmmmmmmm
mine at the moment are 9s et 15 on the rear these are going to be 9.5 et 11 !
how much more are they guna stick out ? im useless with ets and all that ??
Im in need of a ''Yes theyll fit with abit of nip tuck'' off one of you guys ??

Ok Without any adaptors/shims they will be +1/2 inche for the extra width and then another 4mm with the offset so call it about another 1.7cm or so outside where your rims sit now. In other words from memory yeah they will hit.. and with shims...hit a lot!

| so deviant your saying these are a definate no go ? theres a rado around with 9.5s on ed38 with rolled arches not flared but really tightly rolled. so i was thinking i could possibly take the car and wheels to an arche roller and say get them on ! There down brighton way so its abit far just to test fit lol | |

| Is all that work worth the wheels? Most things are do-able if money and the desire are there. | |

| well its either make these fit, then stand back and hopefully like the look, or save abit longer and get th lines 9s all round with the correct offsets. i do like the sound of th lines with the same specs im on mine now. because then i can sort the arches and run it lower, where as with the 9.5 modernlines im going to be restricted to how low. its probaly going to cost around the same amount for both, but with the th lines theyll be brand new and have radinox lips. Could always get a set of 15" bbs like the red westside rado decisions decisions Anybody good at the old photoshop ??

| Steve saw the Schmidts on that Jetta on Sunday... absolutely no chance of getting them under early Rado arches... They were out the rear arches of the jetta by a mile
There was a Red Rado on TH's at the pod too only saw it on it's way out, think they were 17's and look too much wheel if you see what I mean?
Mind you 16's would probably be ok... with a 205/45 series tyre...

| would this be the red one ? if so i agree with you, they do seem to big but they are 17s and narrow, also i think thlines go better with darker colourd cars. i would be trying to achieve this look, without the smooth front. with a helthy drop i think it should look mint. | |

| Agreed, Steve... but I've never been a fan of completely smoothed bumpers somehow. Its just such a huge expanse of nothing! *welsh* Steve.... here you go fella. Not great, but its a start. My photoshop skills are.... less than perfect! | |

| I can live with a smoothed Numberplate at the front but not the whole front, looks too "Chinny" if you see what I mean (In a Bruce Forsythe/Jimmy Hill way!)
16's would look good, better still if the centres were coded to the car too!
Have seen a *cough* Vauxhall Calibre on 18's TH's and that looked plain Stupid!
Steve have a look at Tandino's for dark TH mono.. think I posted a pic on James' what wheel thred a while ago.
