| Hey all, i got a 2001 1.4 mk3 ibiza, and my 5th gear blew up today. i can only find a geatbox from a 1.6 in my local area and was wondering it i could put a gearbox from a 1.6 on to it? thanks!!  | |

| i dont see why not IF
. the 1.4 and1.6 engines are the same block(just bored or stroked different)
.they have same clutch
.and same mechanism
. check all the part codes
check alll these before buying dude good luck | |
