NEW VENUE FOR NOMADS MEETS!!!

Hey yal...the next meet at the Red Lion (3rd Apr) will... i think determine if a bigger venue is needed for our meets! if anyone has somewhere in mind or a suggestion then we can discuss it at the meet...get thinkin nomads!

I'm thinking the next pub down from teh Lion, but carpark looks quite steep, and it looks more of a foodie pub too!

How about dunstable downs viewing point..... other than the fact its a major dogging spot, and its stupidly bumpy, and its got those stupid flappy metal thing on the floor as you go out, which scrape my car and its not that low

come to think of it, not ideal really but its a kool place

the only places i can think of are in the villages.

there is a big public carpark in marsworth (just outside tring) oposite the white lion nice spot by the canal/resevoir!

or the grand juction arms in bourbourn which is a bit further up nice long pub car park by the canal and a big garden


both will have a "local" element and a few boatys but its down to what people want????

these options are nicely out of the way tho????

I think some of us should go for a cruise and find a suitable spot.
Dans places seem nice ..but how far away are they??

both of them are about 15 mins from berko they are both very near tring

the marsworth one would be best coz its a public car park no pub issues

What's the Lighting situation like there?

I think we should have poll to find out how many people want the meets to be at Halfrauds. The currant suggestion's keep getting further and further and further away from hemel, which seems to be more central for most people. What do people think?????

halfords definatly a no no in my book, its where all the chavs and twats go..........and we dont want the wrong attention/crowd, and as pinky said the fuzz will just be on our backs

I have to agree, if there was nowhere else to try then it might have to be used but it is really going to be a problem. Even South Mimms services is higher on my list.

i agree with bazza its seems that the currant suggestion's are a bit of a distince for most of us it doubles my journey time!
