Following on from the "I think im gonna punch someone" thread...

Just sent a pic of the dent some silly ho put in my car to a repair centre, they said it looks like a "proper" repair not a "smart" repair..and it needs painting.
I dont understand this as it hasn't chipped any paint off...does these seem right or are they trying to pull the wool?? and instead of £50 to repair..its £125

a few pics to help you make your mind up...

the reason is , that the dent is on a curve / swage line on ur car and therefore u cant get suction on it to pull the dent out, it looks like it will have to be filled and painted

so therefore, u will need paint and more lab etc hence more money than just the sucky sucky dent tool (not a technical term! )

Arrggg...after reading the email again..its actually more than that.

So over £200 ..not happy!!

mmmm Steph thats a crap one. Is it my imagination or is the plastic trim damaged as well. Shit that was one hell of bang if was a car door. It must caused damage to the car that did it to. Check your neighbors cars. If they have damage in a coresponding area, you know its them. dam. I am just thinking now how much that rust spot of mine is going to cost. ouch!

Does the "beatch's" new car have a vent where it takes in cold air for her Air-con/ Fan?

If so get some mackerals/kippers, seal them in a bag with water for a few days then simply pour the water into their heater system! Better if it has a Pollen filter as will soak that too!

Or just leave some doggie-poo on the edges of the wiperblades, next time they're used... brown screen!

Brake fluid applied late at night... will have the paint straight off her car.. and they have to strip back to bare metal to spray it again!

Got the dent fixed at Mini Me its at the Bourne End industrial estate and only cost £50...the jobs soooo good that you cant even see anythinbg to say there was a dent.
