TURBO BOOST GAUGE

hey any help here would be good. i ordered a boost gauge today and just wanted to know if fitting it would be the same as the one i fitted in my rover coupe..???

well what was it like in your Rover

normaly quite easy pal, hardest part is deciding ware 2 put it!

cut the vacum hose on top of the dump valve put a 'T' bit in and plugged it in and away i went. but dunno if it is the same on this car.?? and it was a TomKat fast but likes to pull ya to the curb..!!!

Oh and i've also ordered a pillar pod.

yea there all pretty much the same, i gta light on mine so had 2 wire it up aswell, dimmer

wiring's no a problem but engin stuff woooof over my head.!

U dont need to cut any pipe or t piece it, theres a pipe on the inlet with a nipple on it blocked off ready for a boost guage...pretty sure thats where james put his! Gimme shout and ill show you

vacum hose m8 is where iv taken mine from and its fine

I don't think you will have a capped boost from the inlet. Your lump is very similar to mine, I would recommend that you put a t-piece into the pipe to the fuel pressure regulator as it is simple and easy to locate.

There is a picture showing the routing of pipes, 14 is the FPR and it connects straight to the inlet manifold for it's vacuum source.

Anyhow, you just need a vacuum source so the one pictured will work fine.

coolio. i have fitted it now that how to guide was great done it as it says reading 12psi when booting it is that about right.?? sounds so nice with that induction kit on too.!!
i will be over on thursday but not to sure what time yet as i have to go to watford to get a shirt for my brothers wedding in st lucia. woop woop
