| Ive beenhaving what feels like a misfire (juddery-almost kangaroo'ing)! Heard it could be the spark plugs getting clogged up with crap after cleaning the TB which i had done recently. So i changed them for some new NGK ones w'day and they're alot better, the ones i took out were almost black! Thought id fixed the problem but today it started again on the m25, always between 2,500-4,000 revs. Ive checked the HT leads and theyre clean as a whistle but do you think i should change the dizzy cap and rotar arm next? Maybe even the HT leads? Dont no what else to do just seem to be throwing money at it past few weeks! If it carrys on I wont be taking it up the strip at santapod | |

| Changed both these items a while back and its still juddering, usually between 2-3000rom. Any more ideas as to what this could be, my fault code reader is pointing to the MAP sensor. Think i may have to replace it but will i need a basic reset afterwards? | |

| The common fault with the MAP sensor is that the engine won't rev above a certain range, so they run out of puff. You need to borrow someone else's to see if it's that really, this will show up straight away if it is the sensor. | |

| Okay ive changed both suspect items now - leads and map sensor! On way home from uni today on m25 it juddered again! Its under mid-heavy acceleration between 2,500-3000 rpm and feels like the acceleration slipping?! Whats next to replace!? Now ive had loads of new parts i need a basic reset - ive pm'd fitzy twice but no reply! Could this ecu/throttle body reset be done using vag-com? | |
