who could fit an exhaust for me?

im thinking of buying a millitek turbo back exhaust, so new dp and sports cat etc etc as their doing 25% off of their sytems at the mo.

but you can have free delivery or free fitting unfortunately their in manchester so itll be delivery for me!

anyone know somewhere i could take an exhaust to get fitted?

or most places would fit it up for a few quid

No big turbo for me mate just ko3s if I ever get one, turbo back is downpipe, sports cat and the rest of the system.

I'm umming and arring at the mo due to money and whether I'm gonna keep the car for long enough to get my moneys worth

Just rang them, it is £662.06 for me. A bit more than I was expecting and what I was talking about is referred to as a Turbo-Back system due to the choice of down pipe.

Exactly the same, they are competing with each other. I have rang both and mentioned the other deal but those prices are bargains..... Give them a call, mention that you just spoke to me and confirm how you want the end pipes and whether you want non-res or res. Non-res is cheaper.

Then we get them delivered free and get someone to help us fit them.

Ive always had discount tyres and exhaust do my exhaust if it were just a matter of fitting.

My centre section on my mk1 was made by topgear.

Both friendly enough.

The guy who runs top gear was driving a modified passat at the time and was very interested in vag motors. always a ground breaker

You should be able to do it yourself, the hardest part will be seperating the downpipe from the turbo, buy loads of releasing fluid and heat, after that what doesnt come off easily can be cut off. Keep the standard cat safe just in case.

Mount it all up don't do any clamps up. Except the downpipe to turbo you don't want a leak here.
Shake it about and see where it hits, and adjust where necessary, use fitting paste, that will lubricate the joins so you can tweak it. When you think its ok, tigten the clamps up, not too tight as you can crush the joins and it'll be a nightmare to tweak or seperate. Let it ide to firm up the paste and check for blows with your hand and ears. Then take it for a gentle drive, accelerate and then slow down in gear, go over bumps etc and see if under driving conditions it vibrates on anything.

If all is good in the hood you can then do the clamps up a little more if you like.

Ask the supplier if it comes with a Downpipe gasket as I think these are metal and if VAG dealers are like Honda dealers they cost alot.

Zip ties help weak and sagging exhaust mounts until you can buy new ones.
