Subject: 6n temp sensor Tue Mar 10 2009, 08:16
After speaking to a mates mate about my dodgey starting in the morning, he said the best thing to do is change the temp sensor. Got one from GSF yesterday and fitted it but doesnt seem to have done much - question is - will it take a bit of running in for the car to notice it or do i need a quick check-up with VAG-COM or something similar to wipe any faults that may be present, telling it its had a new part?!

Get it on the vag-com otherwise you could go on all day changing bits and wasting money. Maybe if you ask Cali nicely he will pop you on. (his knee )
