Offset and adapter question?

Mite be getting some wheels for the rado but they will need some adapters so just looking for some advice on sizes etc.
The wheels are 7.5x17 ET41 will probably be runnining 204/40/17 tyres.
Im sure i read that some people are running these size wheels with et20 - et25 (with adapters) with out any problems but im not to sure.
So im thinking i mite be able to get away with some 15mm or 20mm adapters to give me a final ET of 26 or 21.

Any suggestions?

For the Rado keep it as close to ET35 as possible or you'll be knocking out rear bearings every year, or couple months if you go closer to 0...

Every year = slight exageration
Definately shorter life though.

I'm running 25mm spacers on a track day car and my bearings are lasting suprisingly well!
