Finally got the G back :)

After a month of driving everywhere under 55mph in the Mk1 I finally got the G40 back!! who hoooooo

Mr Dean worked very hard and did all of this ....

Super charger overhall at Jabba
Boost return mod
Head overhauled with new guides,valves,and a skim.
Genuine coolant sensors
All top end gaskets (genuine)
Plugs,leads.cap,rotar arm
New fuel tank
Cambelt water pump
New alternator

It's looking pretty cool but still won't idle properly booooooooooooooooo We're a bit stuck so going to get the 400 run in miles on it and then it'll have to go back into the garage. All ideas welcome!!

Wicked!!!! You don't think it needs setting up again...? As you say, best thing to do is run it in etc.

I'm not sure. Dean had it for about a week after he got the charger back changing various things. Sorting earth straps, setting the co pot (I dunno what that is?!) and various after advice from the G40 forum.

It was running fine and sometimes will but like yesterday it wouldn't hold it's idle at all and would continually cut out. Seems to be slightly better when it's warm.
