It was a bit quiet wasn't it.. But 10 runs and a good wander, I had a good day. Not been before so didn't realise it was quiet for Summer Fest tbh.

First Nomad show for me, you lot arent that bad after all.
BIG lol at fitzy for buying someone elses number plates.
Weathjer was good except for 10mins of ultimate down pour which *tell* saved my interior as I left the windows down when I went for food, he covered one with a mat and one with himself and a brolly .
Also 9 runs of the 1/4mile made for great fun. Made me realise justy how slow a standard full road trim 8v is

for those who have not been, normally its packed up to past where our stand was, and the grass we drove past at the entrance is normally full of dubs just parking!

I actually enjoyed myself, I don't really like shows where you're shoulder to shoulder with people jostling to look at cars. Plus there were no queues for the strip! Thanks to Jon for loaning me his bootspace while I tested my right foot and letting me bum around the stand. For those interested I did a 14.1 at 101.8mph. Rock on.

Yeah, its quite good. Autocar and Performance Car did 15.1 and 15.2 respectively when the Corrado first came out. I was also doing pussycat starts, not launching at revs. Got a little vid I'm going to upload to YouPoop of 3 runs.

14.9 with a load of wheelspin and fueling problems so not gonna be happy until I go under 14, and I want Under 13 really damn things addictive. Track seemed slippier than when we went to the rwyb.
Did have full interior and 3/4 tank too.
You know it's bad when you're taking the front end of your car apart to get more air in
Still beat Lisa every time we raced though, no matter what the photos show
gonna have to give dude points to fitzy for organising.

Yes it was a bit of a shocking turn out, but sayin that i had noticed a slump in attendance over the last 3-4 years at summer festival and it probably didnt help being the weekend after inters! Was still a good day tho especially for those who were going up the strip with out any queues! Wish i took my golf now! never mind tho will just have to organise a RWYB day next month or somethink.

This is very true but it certainly wasn't by much considering your car is lighter, you have a longer rev range, longer gearing, and supposedly at least 50bhp more than me, etc. *ahem*
