ok so i got a price for the parts i need can anyone think of anything else.

So looking at £300+


and would this make fit? 2L bottom end

No idea bout that 2l bottom end as there are many variants that have different characteristics and need blanking plates and replacement distributors.

That will give you and idea of what you will need to think about if doing a 2l swap. Consider your insurance as well, they already are charging you like a wounded buffalo, if you tell them about this they will finish you off. If you don't tell them and are unfortunately in an incident it is easy to spot the 2l tall block has been fitted, then you might be really screwed.

very true i think i will have all the parts by the start of next month if all goes well

u need a power steering pump too!!

throught my pump was ok?

That was probably the leaking bit...

so the rack is fine its the pump?
