i have now learnt.......

1 - what a turbo is
2 - what a supercharger is
3 - the difference between the above
3 - the porsche numbering / lettering thing (eg carrera 4 means its 4 wheel drive)
4 - what a valve is
5 - what a piston in
6 - what v6 means
7 - the models of vw....... i can now tell the difference
8 - the french cars are rubbish (except stephs)
9 - that the boxster is a poor man porsche
10 - that the lotus exige engine is that from the toyota celica
11 - the lotus exige s is supercharged and has 220 bhp and a top speed of 140
12 - what a w@nk engine is
13 - what bhp is
14 - when a nob head says, "its 140 bhp" i am to say "but its about 132 out the wheels" (i may need to check this one)
15 - the history of campers (it is quite basic though)

with number 14 i would always assume the BHP claimed is at "the fly" (or engine)

what BHP makes it to the ground is down to many factors including tyres and their pressures ,the weight of the wheels , and the gearbox

stick to the fly coz thats the engines power NOT the cars power

matthew taught me this.... it was my first car lesson so it may have been the most basic way of telling me. i will practice...

i think ya 1/2 way right my wankel enigne was w@nk!!! but then it was driven a little hard my be and the past owners i would be thinking!! i heard they run better when ur sidewards!!!

17 - that you know what a internal cufflink is and how many steves VR6 has got
18 - That Luke/Dubsy actually designed the wooden crank for the morgan and is now trying to incorperate it into the Valver
