| Do a search on Edition38 forum, its been done many times, and creates a beast!
You need mounts, axles, gearbox, ecu and loom I think, its easy enough if you know your way round an engine and a toolbox.
So I take it this is the fix for the headgasket?
Liking your style!

| A lot of people now fit the 1.8T engine as it is lighter and meant to be slightly smaller but the VR6 engine is so lovely so do the research and give it a go. | |

| always been planning some sort of engine swap, and well car broke and a vr6 has come up on the old raidar! so put two and two together and u get a beast as you said. iv read like all the posts on e38 about people doing the engines on mk2's, some people love them some people hate them. seams to me that people that do the suspenison right seam to love it, i think that it the hardest bit to do. | |

| if you have a digipant gti with the hazzard warning switch on the steering colum then the vr6 engine loom will plug and play with your fuse box | |
