Volkswagen golf mk2 1.3 - 12 months mot - 6 months tax - Fueling problem - SOLD

I have for sale my mk2 golf 1.3, after five years of completely trouble free motoring it has developed a couple of problems.
Firstly it had an intermittent electrical fault which turned out to be the hall sender and the coil breaking down; I replaced the complete ignition system with new components including distributor, coil, amplifier, plugs and leads (receipts for all of this).
This solved the electrical fault, although now the dreaded Pierberg 2e3 carburettor has started to play up and I no longer have the time due to a new job to get it fixed and need something more modern.
The car does start and run however runs lumpy and cuts out, however will restart straight away. May possibly want the carb cleaning and rebuilding or replacing with the Webber kit. I would love to keep the car but need something modern and already have a project car. Car is completely rust free with good paintwork and would make an ideal base for an engine conversion.
The car is still driveable just cuts out occasionly, would be ok for short journey home after purchase but will need attention to be 100%. Would trailer for longer journey.

Alrite m8, yer was quite a bit lower! Still a brilliant car m8 been trouble free till now since I bought it off you.

Car started and ran fine today which makes me think the problem isnt anything to bad, just dont have the time to do anymore to it.
