| I removed both standard rear suspension on n/s and o/s on my !6v but the o/s rear suspension bolt snapped and I could not get it out. Does anyone had similar experience to mine and managed to remove the snapped bolt? I cannot replace the suspension at the moment as I am stuck with snapped bolt. Is there anyone can help me out and I will pay for your time to remove the snapped bolt. My car is in Hemel Hempstead.

| Put a screwdriver in the hole and hit it very hard with a hammer, preferably use halfords professional range because if you break either they will replace it for you for free Spray with lots of lube too! Duck oil is awesome!!! If that doesn't work, warm it up with a blow torch and the smashing it out | |

| Dashworth, I tried to remove the sezied and snapped bolt inside the subframe, but it would not budge!
I think I will have to drop the subframe and have a better access to remove the snapped bolt on the subframe. It's PIA!
I'll post here once I have succesful removed the bolt from the subframe.

| Good luck man, try heating it up though, if you can make the metal expand it should be easier to smash out ^_^ | |

| Looks similar to my polo, I have just a nut and bolt, you seem to have a captive bolt, smacking it will get you nowhere, maby a belt sander and grind it away, then just use a nut and bolt.
I still can't figure out what's holding that nut down! | |
