Clio 197 - Black 2006

Just a first refusal of sorts for Nomads, as this might well go straight on Autotrader next week. Not much I need to say about the car, everyone knows what a crazy terrier of a car the RS Clio's are

Clio 197 - Black 3 Door '56 Plate - 55K Miles

Good stuff:

Taxed til October
MOT til October
1 years warranty remaining! This covers all major engine parts, electrics etc.
Had it's cambelt done at main dealer less than 10k ago (£800+ job)
Original owner bought the 'Glasscoat' paint protection, bodywork in excellent condition
Climate Control
Comfy cloth Sports seats in black (not the Recaro's, which looked lovely but almost destroyed my spine & do not wear as well)
I managed to 35mpg going to Milton Keynes and back at the weekend, and that's a mix of B roads & 70mph dual carriageway from here. You get 25mpg+ even when you give it some stick.

Bad stuff:

Steering wheel has 'melted' a bit, as the Renault crowd seem to call it, top layer of steering wheel covering is a bit tatty.
3 out of 4 wheels curbed and scratched in places, nothing serious - we have killer stone curbs around here, unavoidable!
"Service Soon" indicator just popped up - it's been on long life plan so I believe it's still 5k until this is due, and Renault do cheap servicing (£90 to £250 depending on what you want done bronze/silver/gold)

Based in Tring, drive into Hemel daily so shout if you want to see it up close. Will get some pictures up once it's had a decent clean.

Cheers peeps, dropped to £5400 for Nomads if they wanted it this week - Prices on these are not what they should be (or what I'd like them to be)! The Renault garage in Hemel have offered us just shy of this amount, so it might end up down there this weekend, just for the sheer ease of rocking up & taking the money.
