Admans Mk3....... 2nd Gen

Hi Guys,

Well after the disaster of my last Mk3, a bit of a break and general sorting myself out im back with my second Mk3 attempt.....


This one is a completely bog standard Black 8v GTi

hows the new wheels coming along?

Yeah, stance changes everything.

Wheels are in for powder coating now, hopefully should have them back by end of the week

Height is ok but needs tweeking, I'll do this once the new wheels are on

What rubber are you getting on the wheels and are you changing the rolling diameter?
Shout me if you want a hand fitting the wheels, I can change a wheel in lightening speed.

Think I'm going to go for 195/45/16 on the new rims... Not too sure how different the diameter will be but I think overall it's about the same. Yeah cheers I'll let you know, cheers

nice lookin mk3 dude i am rockin a black mk3 myself only a 1.4 but i make up for it in lows :-)

Thats what i had, although always felt i needed a 30mm spacer behind the rears.

Yeah I know what you mean, been thinking about spacers on the rear... Wheels seem to sit in a bit! Problem is on the MK3 there isn't a lot of room behind the arches really

Hey guys, latest update on the Mk3....

Finally got around to painting calipers red, fitted a new red GTi badge and some red inserts on the body plastics...





Still plenty left to do tho! Lol

Looking good Adam!!! I like the red inserts on the mouldings. what brake callipers are those??? they're not standard are they!?

Cheers doug, yeah saw the inserts in a anniversary and thought would be good... Breaks the car up a bit. There the standard 288s mate
